well, the title says it all... eventually I'm gonna put a 3-4" lift on "7/11" and will run (probably) 32" tires. The lift will be on there before the tires (no point in spending $$$ on the shoes if I can't use them!), So I was wondering if any of you run smaller tires on your lift.

I have seen pics of some people's rigs in the transitional stage, but do any of you run smaller tires on a day to day basis.

I currently have a 30x9.50's on 8" black wagon wheels on the 80 NT that I can use on "7/11" until the new tires come in. I guess I'm asking if this looks overly-tacky. If the new tires were going on right after the lift, it wouldn't be a problem, but I really have no way of knowing how long the 30's will be on there.

Didn't Kimbrough have a 4" Rusty's on his Waggie at Tellico with either 30 or 31" tires? Man that rig lookes good!

Ok, thanks in advance and I hope I haven't confused anyone too bad smile.gif

Take your jacks, raise it up the desired amount, and see what it looks like.

A wag has much smaller wheel wells then your WT chero. 30's with a 4" lift will look goofy. My J10 has almost 3" of lift with 31's and they look small. I have 6.5" between the tire and the flare.

yep, thanks Stuka.. that's the kind of pic I was looking for (even if it's 31's in the pic).

That's a good idea SB - It's just that I wanted to get an idea of how bad it'll look with the 30's until the lift goes on.

I DO have some 31" uniroyals (not in the best shape though) I could use in the mean time so it's not like I'm hurting or anything

thanks fellas
