most auto parts have them. and you do not have to replace the center pin as the go between the spring and the perch.

If your auto parts store can't get caster shims it is prolly time for a new parts house. Try going to the local spring shop. Degree shims are about $20 a pair.

I have checked all the local auto parts with no luck...Napa no longer carries them and can't even get them, they are no longer listed in any catalog..your best luck will be from an off-road shop that does installs...........one piece of info...when I did mine I noticed that the centering pin did not have a long enough head on it, so after adding the shims the head of the centering pin was completely within the shim! therefore no centering occurred...so I removed the centering pin and put a few washers in whcih allowed the centering pin to protrude through the shim

i found some shims but the thing i didn't like is that they are made from aluminium also i was thinking of doing what vepster said about puting some washers on the center pin so the shim can sit and the pins'head come out doen any one know if they make the shims of metal ?

find a local alignment shop that does big trucks. They will have a wide assortment of shims. You want the ones that the sides snap off of. They are made for 2 different widths, the sides on they are for 3"+ springs, and with the sides snapped off they will work on the 2 - 2 1/2" springs.
