Somewhere a while back I was reading about a winch that was mounted be hind a stock bumper and was fairly concealed. Anyone know who's rig that was or what thread?

Keep in mind that this kit is no longer manufactured, AFAIK. I bought one from a private seller who bought some NOS from another company. And, sorry, those were the last ones they had. :-(

FWIW, a HF 8K lb winch fits in it and doesn't hit the steering box.

Yea, thats the thread to bad the kit is no longer available. Clean looking install.
