I can't remember if I've already asked this, I've been too busy to even open the hood on my jeep.

I have all kinds of power and no hesitation on acceleration. when I get to "throttle speed" usually only after starting from a very slow speed, the engine hesitates for about 1/2 second then runs smoothly. I'm not sure what the problem is. it smells alittle gasy when I start it up and when it is warm and has sat for a short time it doesn't like to idle until it has been driving for 50 yrds. or has been run at a higher rpm than idle for a minute or so.

I'm thinking they are related. I did get my idle set better. It also has a rough idle when warm. could the iginition box be causing all of this(hesitation and rough idle)? I would like to do a TFI conversion, but don't have the time.
As far as I know the engine is completely stock, as is the 2150 carb and intake.

I have not found any vacumn leaks(first thing I checked for) but with all the lines, you never can tell. Any and all help you guys can give me would be greatly appriciated.
