the cam i have is a summit 8600. is this the piece of Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley that is causing my rpoblems with the hard start stuff? i never got it to crank, so nothing is hurt, but i dont want to put this cam in if yall are having prob.s with it

trnwt4cs (your username is TOO darn long to retype!), the cam isn't bad just because it is the summit 8600. The issue is this: there were several runs of cams made that had a flaw in them. It is a crap-shoot as to which one you will get. So, you need to inspect your cam to verify if it is good or not. Check my other post in the tech forum for more info (cam-walk and camshaft issues)
