It has been a while since I have been on the list. I got a new job and relocated to Wyoming, and have been swamped, so let the list slide. I am however in a bind right now. I noticed some clunking coming from the rear of the truck and when I investigated, found that my spider gears were a little more than worn. I proceeded to dismantle the axles, and in trying to pull the brake drums, had major problems with one side. I am not sure what rear-end it has in it but the axles are the tapered type that the brake drums are pressed onto and then held in place with a castle nut and cotter pin. I have tried applying heat to the drum to get it off - to no avail. Are there any suggestions out there on how I might get this off. I have to admit that it hasn't been off for quite some time, and I really like my truck. It isn't a looker, but has been with me for a lot of years. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
