about to install the 2.5-3" kit i got, i'm assuming my shocks won't be long enough. how do i go about buying new shocks for the lift? this is a trail rig and don't want the shocks to limit my wheel travel. also if anyone can make recomendations on what brand/series shocks to get with city and off-road driving, preferably cheap ones! thanks!

All you do is wherever your getting them is let them now what year and model and how much lift thats all the info they need to get ya the correct size shocks....
best shock depends on how much offroad compared to onroad the rig will be IMO any rig thats onroad more then 50% of the time you want the softer shocks for a better ride. Nitros can kill you and your rig city/highway driving hard ride lol but offroad they help keep the tire on the ground. But its mainly driver preference. I got Hydros (soft) on my j20 and love em for the smooth ride and Nitros (hard) on my CJ5 and love them for offroad but they kick ya back running around town and you hit a pothole OUCH lol both from Skyjacker.

Procomp ES 3000 LONG TRAVEL, they are the longest travel monotube shocks out there. Should do ya fine on/off road, mine work great riding out the rough spots in my shop;)
Spectre posted the part numbers for the long travel on here somewhere if you search it up or want to email him.
