Did you take a 2nd frame and mirror it and then weld it in place to box the frame?

looks like another frame was cut apart and then (non-mirrored) swapped to the other side to box the frame...

Slick: er... how about those links below the photo?

Thats pretty sweet. If I had a welder, a extra frame to cut up, and a bunch of time, I would think about doing the same thing.

Got it on the first guess.
I trimmed the top and bottoms down to an inch wide, then welded them on. I used a whole 92 foot O2 bottle cutting and quite a bit of wire and C02 welding it up. Good thing I have a 4 day week so i can go to town and get my bottles filled friday.
I'm going to re-enforce the front areas where they crack by the spring hangers, cut off the bump-stop, and then hang the springs and get some axles under it. I'm sure glad it cooled off

Gosh, I just hope you didn't warp or twist the frame rails if you did all that welding while it was sitting in the dirt.
Please tell us that you welded that while the frame was on a hard flat surface of some kind like cement.:(
