Hey guys, new to the site but LOVE IT!! I have a problem that I know someone in here can help me with. I have a '83 Wag 360 V8 with Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. When I am going down a hill, after climbing with a lot of throttle, with ~20-30 degree incline my truck stalls. I am thinking this is due to the carb and the bowls getting filled up. I have been told of poss. converson kit to FI or a restrictor plate?? What can someone in here help me with?! Thanks in advance.

One of two things normally cause this problem...
1. Fuel climbs one side or the other of float bowl and the float doesn't have support and opens flooding the fuel bowl.
To stop some of this you can lower the fuel line pressure or lower the fuel level in the float bowl.
2. When on angle, the fuel simply runs out of the float bowl vent and into the carb throat.
Lowering the fuel level a little and extending the vent up some usually helps this problem.

Fuel Injection is the best plan, but expensive.
Fuel pressure regulator much less expensive and less complicated to install.
Which Edelbrock do you have?
Rochester Q jet copy or Carter AFB copy?
