Hello, I want to dump and fill all of the above.

What fluids are supposed to go into them?

Tranny: SM465
T/C: NP205
Dana 44/27 are the axles

I have several quarts of 80/90w GL-5 limited slip oil...can I use this for the Diffs?

Thanks

Sam

GaWd ......Limited slip diffs are supposed to have tags on them but a truck that old they could be removed. you need to pull the covers anyway. I don't think LSD oil would hurt it anyhow. The additives are for the clutches. Seems like the D-27 would be in front..sorry I don't know 'bout the rest of it.......ds..

I'm guessing that nobody has any answers because of the stupid question I asked LoL.

I know I should know what's in it, but someone gimme a little hand, please? smile.gif

Thanks Don, I think regular gear oil is fine for the Diffs, but I have a gallon of the LSD oil and there's no sense in wasting it.

205 is a gear case, 465 is an old tranny, yep gear oil all around. I do know the 205 for sure, because I have a 203 in a sub that uses 10 w30, and the "less informed" around here keep telling me to use gear oil like a 205. 99% sure on the rest.
