Ute, Ulay and Hidden Treasure Mine down backside of Engineer Pass almost to Lake City. They built a dam for flume to divert water, quite interesting, they had added onto dam but did not add to bottom to which finally gave way.
I'll get my pix up this weekend hopefully.

That is mighty nice of you to offer Phil . Craig and I have started a list of things to be done before next year preferable to be finished long before the trip. Not like this year where we were working right up until we left. Among those is to go though the cooling system which is one of few things we haven't touched since it never showed any sign of trouble before or for that matter since. we never got over 200 all the way home pulling the trailer in 2nd gear through the passes

                list?

Well, I guess I need a list too. Umm, OK, here is mine...

                1) Get a reliable, functional, non-pos QT installed in Krista's Waggy

Anything else that may come up before then will be squelched.

What is funny is Craig has always scoffed at people who have A/C in their cars, you should have heard all the ideas of how to get it into CROM! LOL

I think he needed to relieve himself after almost wiping out the entire under side of his truck on that big rock. Everyone else just took off and left the poor guy stuck at the top of the obstacle not shown in the pic and then he backed down on his own and was heading for the rock at a fast pace. I ran like hell to get up there and barely was able to get his attention to stop. Fortunately he only wiped out half his rear exhaust. Lesson learned; you are on your own when others won?t wait for you.

This year I stopped Brutus from tearing out his brake line after he got winched up the crack. He kept going forward with the strap still attached and it wrapped itself around the caliper. Lesson learned; don?t move forward after being winched. Let someone un-strap you.

I still don't think I was in any danger there even though I didn't get to see where the strap was wrapped around. ONLY because I was turning right so the strap doubled up underneath me. FWIW, I do prefer that you err on the side of caution like you did there Steve. Thanks again.
