I have an 80 Wagoneer 360 2bbl bone stock. It has good torque, but I think some more can help. I plan on cutting off the pellet style cat and installing a high flow monolith style one. Also upgrading the ignition to the Ford TFI, coil, cap rotor etc. maybe an MSD. Should I spend the $$ on the edelbrock Intake, and carb? I don't want to get even worse mileage (its full time). The motor is fresh maybe 20k on it. I was even kicking around getting a kinsler, or Accel throttle body, and drilling some injector ports into the intake and making a multi port EFI. That would probably take me years...........
