Well I finally got the Jeep back after the infamous timing gear lube problem. She got new timing gears, cam, lifters, push rods and distributor. It runs/revs like a top until the choke kicks off. After that when I put the tranny in gear it dies. Vacuum problems possibly? What do you think?

Always check vacuum first. Next, check your idle and mixture, and set accordingly.
