Well as promised. I went wheeling on some old mine and mountian roads this week end. I love the new front end. It makes visibility much nicer. These pics are from some of my faviorite areas of Central Idaho.

It does look a lot like Colorado! Maybe it will prove to be enough of a diversion for the Californians that want to move to Colorado! :D

As a former Idahoian, I can tell you they would be more than happy to send some californians on over to Colorado. 1st recommendation once you get in the state: Get those Cali license plates changed!
Wonderful people and absolutely beautiful country (dang I miss it!), but the locals don't care too much for the CA migration.
Where are these pics taken anyway? Central as in Ketchum/Standley or down near Haggerman? I have been in areas that look similar, but looks like you are higher up.:fsj:

If they ask me where to go... I will tell them that there is some beautiful country in Virginia! Lots of other Califorians to pal around with too!!! :D

Yea, there are LOTS of everybody out here in VA! Grew up in N.C. but was in Boise for 10 yrs. Just came back to the right coast last year. I sometimes feel a bit clausterphobic now. Got used to having some open space. Heck, I think there are more people in the Richmond area than in all of Idaho. The population out there is only about 1.5mil and 1/3 of those are in the Boise area.
Last time I was in Colorado, I hit an elk with my YJ on the way to Winter Park. Middle of the night, snow and ice..came around a curve and there was a wall of them making their was across the road. Thankfully I was not flying..but it is a YJ. Crunched the passenger side front but spared the radiator. I still drove it out there, stayed a week and drove it back to Boise before taking it to the shop.
Also spent some time on a bike riding through Colorado. It is purty! Sure is a lot of room out there in them hills for some million dollar california mansions... 8^)
