Getting that rig on a diet...I like it.

Any idea of actual rig weight?

Paul, I'm still digging those beadlocks. I actually went back and found the thread so i could order them later on. I'd like to see a front end shot. Looks like you've made plenty of room up there and I'm sure the visual clearance is also a huge plus. can't wait for the pics.

Looking great! I love the narrowed rhino grill front ends. Nice beadlocks too!

I like, I like...and, it still retains it's FSJ identity.

The first pic looks like it doesn't have the hood, extra tubing, or grill. Is that the newest picture? The other three look familiar.

Looks good! I haven't seen to many people narrowize these rigs. I like that exo-cage too. Looks very nicely done!

Let's think about this for a min. The pic without the new exo is newer than the new exo and hood work? yeah, i'm sure he added all that tube to slice it right back off. LMAO, how about using some critical thinking skills? I hope you never make a post like that on pirate, they'll flame you to a crisp for noobish stuff like that. And FYI, the last ones he posted were unfinished, these are the completed pics. you don't keep up on things around here, do you?

anywho, looks great paul, the rig has come a long way.

Thanks Brad. Now I'm convinved you're a pretty smart guy. How about you stick with Pirate. Posts like yours are more common over there than here.

Lets see, the first post, of the first page, showed 4 pictures. It didn't start with "in the beginning" or "from day one". It was a progress post where people who have been following his rig closely know the difference from what it was. But most people who haven't been following his rig wouldn't know exactly what it started as. I have seen his rig a few times, but couldn't remember if he had an exo around his hood or not. I knew he had a hood and grill and some sort of exo from his Moab pics I've seen before. But I've slept since then.

Ok, I looked them up, and here's some pics he posted a long time ago that I was referring to as familiar. Same angle:

Now had I gone back and looked these up before I posted, I would have known he had made some changes. But that's why I asked. Excuse me for asking. I made a mistake, you caught me, congratulations, I hope you feel better now. I appologize to all in this thread for dirtying it up with arguements, as I'm sure this isn't the end.

Now that I recognize the new work, it looks good Paul. Your's and Desert Beast's rigs are two of the best examples for strictly-offroad FSJ's. Keep it up.

Or spend a little LESS time on Pirate; sheesh Brad...Did you have a bad day?

Paul that thing looks sweet. Do you have any plans for keeping the trail crud out of the engine bay? That front-end left me fantasizing about what would happen of you smacked in to an H2 head-on. I wonder if you'd pop up and crawl on top of it.

The first pic is before the new tube work up front and actualy the reason I posted that pic is to show the new beadlocks. I should have added a title for the pic. I know sometimes people post pics and I look at them for a minute before I notice what is going on. :fsj:

I ran it this weekend up in the mountians with frequent encounters with mud and water and the engine stayed cleaner than I thought it would. With that being said I'm going to seal the cap and rotor and do some other things to help fight any problems that may come up. One bonus too the open finder wheels is cooling, it is amazing how much heat it trapped under the hood.

Apparently, you're not the only one.

Hey Paul, your CBI offroad link doesn't work.
