thanks, actually i do have a few dozen questions.

ill start with where did you find your parts?

where did you get the coils and what are they from?

and on your upper links, did you use tabs to secure them to the frame?

Shadow you need to search man... pretty easy

Here is the thread that Nick states some of his parts:

Wild Horse coils they are and they are the beef IMO. for the upper links it takes a tube insert welded into the frame.

im starting to like the four link setup more and more. im not sure i can do it right but ill definatly give it a shot. what would be other options on putting one together as far as link locations and shock mounting points? are there other configurations to consider?

well, mine was a double triangulated 4-link. you could do a regular 4 link and ditch the crossmember and go straight to the frame with your mounts. as for shock mounts, just get creative. i made mine like something i had seen before. i just made a cut out in the floor and ran mine up that way. just don't get too extreme on the angles. i think you can get out for cheap but you'll need to do some searching for cheap steel and other parts like heims, tube inserts, etc. :fsj:

Mine may not be from a wag, but it has some real good shots of a 4 link. Go to fullsizejeeps.com Look for kyj10 under the users tab. Look for any with 4link in the title. Also, there is a real nice 4 link calculator on pirate, that is a pretty good resource to use. Dennis

Im planning on finally being wheelable by this months end. Want to make a close weekend trip just to try out the new mods. Been thinking about harlan, since Im only a couple hours away. If I go there, I'll let you know. How far is garrett from harlan? Dennis

I've always wondered about adapting a ZJ rear end setup. Would be nice to get an aftermarket longarm kit and making that work. Would be fun to try....

i suggest trying to find beefier coils then on a ZJ. i've seen them work but it seems that much weight needs more beef.

I was thinking about on a J-truck...the back of my truck weighs much less than a ZJ...lol.

You are not planning on loading the bed up with toys are you? As soon as you put an atv, coolers, toolboxes etc... J-truck can easily exceed ZJ capacity.

My J-truck IS my toy...hahahaha!

Anyway, I was just pondering aloud. I'm not actually doing this conversion....
