Gonna go to hell for asking this but......... Friend of mine heard that FSJ axles will bolt under a CJ........ this true? I know that some of the wranglers will accept them as a bolt in but dont you need to outboard your perches to get FSJ axles under a CJ?
CJs an 85............
I sell a decent amount of my perches to the smaller jeep folks as they like to use our axles for their SOA, Unfortunatly I don't get a lot of pic's back from them.
As best I can recall, the YJ folks get a direct bolt in up front and move the rear perches on the axle to match, like Josh here

The CJ folks, IIRC, need to outboard their hangers to match our perch spacing (SOA or SUA doesn't matter) as the diff side pretty much needs to stay in that location. For the rear I'm sure they do the same, move them to match.
I don't have any CJ pic's, you can probably dig up some info here...

...I'm sure there is lot's of stuff on Pirate and Off-Road.com also.
