Is there any way I can weld or some how lock my axleshafts and my driveshaft together so the front differential is always engaged, and just throw some manual locking hubs on the front so I can do away with my selec trac? I heard of other ways of getting rid of it, but I'd like to try and pull it off this way. Can I some how lock it up all the time? Thanks!

Well, just run constant vacuum to the front disconnect so it's always connected, install unlocking hubs, remove the vacuum interconnect system to the switch, remove the pull-pin on the switch lever, and you're all set.

Well, until the vacuum system quits working. I know this isn't what you were thinking of, but a NP208 swap with a non-vacuum front axle sure is worth not worrying about some little hoses that suck and blow to keep your 4x4 working...

Eh, I'd rather not do any major swaps any time soon, I just got the Jeep running again. I think the constant vacuum isn't a terrible idea, any idea which hoses should go where? I accidently tore it out when I removed my engine. hehe. Atleast I know to keep an eye out for next time.
