Does anyone know of an adapter to put together a NV4500 and a NP208 or should i just look for a differnt transfer case with driverside drop to put in my waggy

An NV4500 will be setup for an NP style case already (like the 208 uses), but you will need to verify the spline count is correct. If it is, they should bolt together.

All the 4wd chevy NV4500's have 32 spline outputs and their standard clocking. The dodge NV4500's come in either 23 spline (from a gas engine truck) or 29 spline (from a diesel truck) and have a diffrent clocking than the chevy.
Do you know what clocking pattern yours has? If it has the chevy pattern then you will need to find a 32 spline input for your np208. If it has the dodge clocking then you might have better luck IF yours has the 23 spline input, then it will bolt straight on. But the only hard part will be finding the 23 spline NV4500. They are a little more un common than the 29 spline version.
Here is a pic.
Chevy is on the right
Dodge is on the left

No I don't know what the spline is on mine, its all still together in my 82 waggy. What I'm wanting to do is pull the tierd 360 and 727 out and put in a strong chevy 350 that i have with an nv4500 then later pull the 350 and put in a 454.
Is the pattern clocking off by enough that my own pattern could be drilled into it?

So your saying you already have a chevy nv4500? Then you have the tailhousing on the right and a 32 spline output. If I remember, I think I remember rerading on here that the np208 has a 23 spline input. So that would be problem #1. Now if your np208 has the same clocking as the dodge one (on the left) theres problem #2. I went through that problem. The way the casting ribs on the chevy tailhousing are made, it will not let you re-drill it to match. Thats why I have the dodge tailhousing, but I found out its a lot shorter than the chevy and wont work. I ended up doing something diffrent. But for you there is gonna be two options. Take your chevy nv4500 and buy a dodge tailhousing and a new 23 spline output/mainshaft and have a trans shop install it.(big $$) OR find a 23 spline dodge nv4500 and adapt it to the chevy engine (easyer than you think) all you would need is a new chevy input for the dodge trans and the correct bellhousing, as both the dodge and the 95 and up chevy nv4500s share the same trans to bellhousing bolt pattern, as well as most other parts (except for input and output shafts and tailhousings) What year did your nv4500 come from? The older 93-94 chevy nv4500's are almost a diffrent breed.

Thats exactly right. If you have not purchased your NV4500 yet, get a dodge with 23 spline output, swap in a chevy input shaft, ( about an inch shorter than the dodge input), bolt your 208 up to the dodge tailhousing and you are ready to go after you check your drive shaft lengths and fab up a mounting plate to the cross member. I think I also read one time that when someone on here put the NV4500 in their wag they recommended that you install a 1" body lift as well to clear the tranny in the tranny tunnel.

Yep, I would do like TexasJ10 suggested. Since you dont have the NV4500 yet, your best choice would be a dodge with a 23 spline output. Those are a little harder to find since they only came in the 3/4 tons with gas engines. V8 I think, AFAIK the V10 versions used the same 29 spline HD output as the diesels (but I am not 100% sure of this) Check ebay, there are usally a few of them listed at all times, some of them have ok prices. Also check your local yards.
