It's soooo sweet, but I just won't be able to finish her...

Back in Nov. Todd "RiverBeast" Grisko posted some pics of the coil spring/radius arm lift I was doing on my 86 GW. Well, she's finally done (actually, she's been out for a couple months) and she rides like a Cadillac. Problem is, the tranny's gonna need some work: '90 Chevy 700r4/NP241 combo (which had been rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago) had some slippage going into 2nd & 3rd. A local hotrodder that works at Aamco spotted that the Chevy throttle linkage had not been adapted to the AMC motor. He tweaked the shift points and now there's no slip, but you have to rev it quite a bit to shift (OK, if you're a leadfoot I guess).
Anyways, my work schedule is already insane and will not let up for at least 12 months and I just can't take any chances so I bought a new Honda Element and think I should just let somebody else put the "finishing touches" on Lucy. I'm not sure what I can get for her; the lift alone cost me about $9,000 all in. I am hoping for $10,000 (ha-ha), what do you think? [BASICALLY, MY WIFE SAID THAT IF I PUT ANOTHER $ INTO THIS TRUCK...and she flashed a very sharp pair of scissors "snip"].
Front suspension is 6" Superlift coils for F100, Wild Horses Early Bronco extended radius arms mounted to 90 Bronco frame brackets, 14" travel Rancho 9000's bolted to Wild Horses' extreme travel shock hoops (ready for dual shocks). Rear suspension is BJ's 4" springs (w/overider leaf removed) mounted to TT's Fabworks shackle flip kit (solid welded), Rancho 9000's mounted diagonally from top of axle to frame crossmember. ALL SUSPENSION WORK WAS PROFESSIONALLY DONE BY EAST BAY FRAME AND AXLE. This truck is very comfortable to drive and cruises down the highway with almost no bumpsteer.
Other mods installed are: Thorley Tri-Y headers, hi-flow cat, Flowmaster triple chamber, full length 3" exhaust (throaty, yet quiet), HEI ditributor, 73 F100 hi-pinion D44, slotted & drilled rotors, 35x12.5x15 ProComp Extreme Terrains (a little noisy between 40 & 50 but otherwise rather quiet), 4.56 gears w/Loc-Rite posi's front & rear, AGR steering box & SuperPump, Bulletproof Steering's DOM Tie-rod over knuckle system (w/aerospace grade hardware), CableX speedo box drives stock speedo, NEW FUEL GAGE SENDER, 90 Chevy 700r4/NP241 tranny/transfer case, Novak NP241 shifter kit, new long spline driveshafts w/1350 flanges and yokes. New headliner and flip up moon roof.
Oh yeah: Viper alarm and 700 watt Panasonic CD/stereo w/ separate EQ, 4 speakers, and subwoofer.
I have rebuilt heads, Edelbrock cam, ratio rockers, roller chain, etc. to install. Plus, factory code Gold paint & clearcoat, new woodgrain vinyl, and 3 yards of "original" corduroy cloth insert material, new tailgate window regulator, Rancho in-cab remote, blah, blah,b-lah...
The extra parts pretty much indicate all the work that remains to be done (other than the ever troublesome stock Autolite carb which works well but smells like it's leaking somewhere).
Here's a few pics of how she sits now: (there's also a link for some buildup pics)

Whad'ya think?
Please e-mail me questions or your phone number if you really want to discuss buying her. Thanks,
Darren
