I am currently in the process of restoring a 82 wag from a junker to a every day reliable vehicle. I have the engine done a rebuild and am just waiting for the fuel injection system that i ordered from custom efis. He just emailed me and said that it is gonna be acouple MORE months... I was wandering if anyone knew of any other place i can order a fuel injection system for my wag. Also i don't want to spend 2 grand for it. thanx

Howell or Holley. Holley is your cheapest option, Howell is a little better IMHO, since they use GM injection systems.

What does one need to look for as far as applications of the holley FI? Will a kit for a SBC fit motors?

its a generic kit, 670 cfm, 2bbl, either analog or digital. it fits a square-bore 4bbl intake. the throttle bodies are the same for the analog or digital kits.

another vote for the Holley Kit. I put one on my mustang about 10 years ago. Had an injector go bad once but other than that it has been very reliable. Better Gas Milage and throttle response. I am going to switch it over to my Wagon one day, I picked up a tri power manifold for my 351C in my mustang.

the controller is only set to be used with an 8 cylinder ignition system. dont know how it would react to a 6 banger. maybe flow too much gas???

Not sure on the size, might be ok. Running a q-jet right now...hehe, the 8 cylinder thing could be bad though.
Thanks,

Maybe I could use the V8 throttle body with the 6cyl projection control box???

The cheapest, and just as good, system out there is customefis.com . He did mine, it is several hundred cheaper then any other, and it is easy to install. Works great and John knows his stuff. I did'nt even have to change chips after the install. He will burn you as many as you need to get it tuned. Just my .02. Dennis

That's only 300cfm though...it'd be too small for the stroker I think.
