Wide Trac Flares on a GW?

I just finished installing the Rough Country AAL and gained 2.25" and I am still looking for additional wheel well clearance.

Will the rear wide trac flares off a J 10 or wide trac cherokee fit the rear wheel well on a '84 GW?

I am not afraid of cutting the sheet metal but have concerns that the flare could extend over the rear door.

Has anyone tried this?

I was considering using the flares from Raybuck.

You will have to cut out your wheel wells or you're not gaining anything by just bolting on the flares.
So far as what to do about the rear doors, I would suggest cutting the flare and mounting part of the flare to the door rather than than leaving the flare in one piece...may be hard to open the rear doors otherwise http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif
