needless to say, I'm very happy. so many wierd/different stuff on these! this is the first super wag I've ever seen, also the first rust free wag I've seen. the bad: belt rubbing through coolant hose. Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley!!! then went to move it tonight, NO HEADLIGHTS!!! oh well, I guess I wouldn't be to happy if I couldn't playwith it/ repair it! got quite an eyefull when I turned the A/C on! don't think its been used in awile, but appears to blow cold. will report after I get it up on the lift at work tomarrow!

Those have always been my envy....your extremely lucky to own a very rare part of the Jeep Wagoneer line.
The best I have is just part of the super waggy console...but I'd rather have the entire rig...
Holy Crap Batman!!! You finally found a way to go back in time! Did you bring anything else back from 1969?

my 71 1414x had a push button on the shifter, the super pulls to the left to shift. thought that was odd for them to be different. I bought this from wagoneer world in richardson texas. thanks for posting those pics : ). ill try to get some new ones up of the new carpet and headliner. no dig cam : (

Any idea who the PO was? there was a guy who was a freelance magazine writer with one that looked similar to that... [Richard Truesdell I'm told]
VERY VERY sweet ride. The pinnacle of FSJdom I think.

no, the first type shifter (i have both) you just tilted the lever towards you and moved thru the gears. In the type 2, you have the button on top just like in the commandos.
this has no button on top and is a type1 shifter.

truesdell's is a yellow '69. its real purty!!! previous owner kept very good records, I have them and the original window sticker! I was surprised that mine has the buick 350. according to what I've read mine is the 92nd wagoneer to have it ( vin is 1414d19 300093 ). I'm glad it does. I've had a couple of wags with the 327. lots of power but hard to find parts

I've been here awhile. I browse and don't comment unless I can help. love the site and the people I've met have been great! FSJ mag is a business and you gotta do what you gotta do,but, I think FSJ mag should cater to ALL non standard jeeps. not that I don't love those little jeeps! however, fc's, jeepsters, willys wagons and trucks, 715's. they are awesome! I would love to know more, but, the info isn't there, just like our jeeps. I just PM'ed someone about headliner bows for the super wag. he didn't know they existed! not his fault! if there was a rag dedicated to these old trucks and their preservation, restoration and use, im in!!! just like everyone on the site says, pics, pics, pics.!!! I don't know what the dash panel or engine cover to an FC150 looks like, but I and lots of people would like to know!! not to pirate my own thread, but, I think that's what people here want. anyone with me on this???

James has limited access to the Internet. We are doing him a flavor and hosting some recent pictures of his mighty fine 68 Super Wagoneer. It is a beauty! He says the interior is being redone in red leather, so no interior shots yet.
His comments: The super has stock paint that I buffed out. The springs were built by Oregon Spring here in Portland. They are two inches over stock. Maybe when im done dumping money into this truck I can buy an actual computer :). thanks again

unfortunately i've never really checked it out the couple of times i've seen it (first time was dark), i've always been in a hurry. once the inside is done i'll have to take a closer peak at it. from what i did see it is super clean though! not to mention he's a pretty cool guy to to business with.
