Well this is the design I settled on any way. I decided enough is enough, 5spi and below here I come. I ordered the double ripper weld on kit from www.diy4x.com (http://www.diy4x.com). I think they fit my rig rather nicely not to mention the Iroks will look sweet with them.

looks good.....we just installed a set of diy beadlocks on a friends jeep.....they fit great and left just the right amount to of material to weld to......been three weeks now, and they havent leaked a bit of air....

Excuse my ignorance (I can't hold onto it all, I keep dropping it everywhere), but do you need special tires to run beadlocks? Or will they work for most any tires? The dude at the 4x4 shop was trying to sell me me some the other day (admist the thousands of other things I didn't ask about he was pushing). It's a thought for someday, but I don't think I really need them :)

they will work w/ any tire. if he was trying to sell you special "beadlock tires" then i would take your business elsewhere b/c he was blowing smoke up your ***.

I'd worry less about his hand than I would for the next dog that decides to lift his leg over that ring to mark his territory:rolleyes:
