Has anyone made room for larger tires with a smaller lift? I dont want to do more than a spring over and a couple inches but i want to stuff some lager tires in it. How, who, where?
Does anyone make flares for afterwards of trimming sheetmetal. I thought about use four rear tj wrangler flares all around.

you can always trim fenders to make bigger tires fit. I have 33's with just a 4" lift up front. (back is about 5.5") Hiemeken uses XJ bushwacker flares on his wag, they look pretty good. Generally with a 4" you can only fit 31's on a NT wag/chero. A WT chero/J-Truck has 31" tires stock. Although some have fit 38" tires with just a 4" (or even no lift). Just means you have to cut a LOT of metal off.

Yes, with a SOA and shackle flip, plus 4" of body lift (I know this is probably more than you're thinking, but this is just for comparison) I chopped out the fenders to fit 38.5" Swampers. Here's a link to a pic:

If you wanna make you're ugly, I'll post some pics of my super cool fender flares too.

I have currently a Spring Over Axle and am running 35's. You can see pictures on my site, www.dekonia.com (http://www.dekonia.com)

From experiance I would only put a 1 or 2 inch body lift and a SOA and maybe a little suspension.

All I have is a 3" body lift & fender hacking ( for now, SOA, J-20 axle swap & 38.5" TSL SX's soon ), & I clear 33's, 35's if I don't mind a little bit of rubbing.
