Just got a pair that someone welded glass packs to, they did a very nice job too...........
what am I in for as far as installation? these will exit under the doors of my 87 J20, will I need a body lift?

We tried to use them on my hybred and they wouldn't work. Luckly we had another set of chassis dump so we didn't loose any time on the build.

i am not positive but if you trim the inner fender they "MAY" fit!
most fenderwell exit headers are for small jeeps like cj's,yj's,etc!
Are not our front frames a bit wider? (than a CJ)

Like tad said the frame is to wide, plus it hit the tire if I remember right. Beleive me we tried every which way in the world to make them work. I finally sold them to a little jeep for use as a mud bogger

Hate to give up that easily......... these buggers will fit every CJ and AMC car in existance......... trimming fenders doesnt bug me...... gas tank isnt an issue and i have a 4" body lift ready to go.........

well a quik look at a tape measure would give you your answer! measure the length of the header to the turn down, then measure the distance from the block to the frame!!!

4" aint so bad.......... solid teflon blocks.............. you want a body lift......... ill have to take some pics of the parts J10 I pulled in..........
4" of lift......... middle 4 were chunks of 4x4 rear were caster wheels front driver is washers and the other one is a piece of rubber...........
a thing of beauty............ I hope whomever built it dies.............

I am not sure about your state, but a lot of states any body lift over 3" is illegal do to safety reasons.
