Will this spool work in a Dana 60-2
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DANA-60-35-SPLINE-SPOOL-4-10-DOWN_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33731QQitemZ805974 3419QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V
I was wondering if the c-clip type axles have to have a different syle spool for them to work.
Oh and want fuel pump would work the best in the 350 buick. A Holley red or blue fuel pump??
Thanks guys...

no most rear end axles(d60) are 30 spline...the spool is 35 spline for front applications

A lot of the D60-2's ARE 35 spline, while most rear D60-3's are 30. So you need to verify if it is or not.
EDIT: The D60-2 is NOT a c-clip axle. The only c-clip axle dana ever made was the rear D35. It usesbearing retainer plates similar to a ford 9".

The D60-2 is a 5 lug, semi-floater just like the D44 and DOES NOT use c-clips. The D60-3 is the 8 lug, full-floater.

There are 8 lug D60-2's as well, not all are 5 lug. Jeep and ford both used 5 and 8 lug versions.

What did Jeep use an 8 lug 60-2 in? I've never heard of this.

I may be mistake on the Jeep part, could have sworn I had seen an 8 lug J4000 with a D60-2. However, I know I have seen fords with them, and they still use them on some 3/4 ton vans. Our FedEx guy has an 00 3/4 ton ford van with a D60-2 in back.
