I met Kimbrough yesterday and picked up a d60 rear for mine jtruck. Also met MicahRoss and sold a t-case both are great guys and AmcCherokee and myself had a great time chatting with them. We really need to get something like that going on a larger scale.

just returned from eastern tenn (afton, outside of greeneville)
My father finally bought an FSJ again, but prolly won't join (doesn't like computers)
saw a bunch of nicer wags/ cheros/ j trucks around!
A-1 salvage has none, btw
but Strange (near pigeon forge?) has several, all real rough but a few decent doors fenders hoods tailgates
there is a rough parts 78ish wag in a small used car lot by Arby's/ Food city in greeneville (guy bought it for the axles)
and a real rough parts wag outside of town (i dont recall which way, but a few miles) on 11E
Anybody who has late model doors for sale around eastern tenn please let me know, b/c my dad needs them for his wag
Went to a BBQ place near kingsport (ridgewood BBQ) On the cover of their menu is a gold GW behind teh lady who owns the place
Inside the rest there are pics of a dark colored late 70's wag w/ narrow wood

Well, now that this thread is back, I am now moving to greeneville/ JC area (afton) around new years. It will be nice to be down south for real, not just vacations! I am bringing my 78, and my father now has 3 late 80's gw's. And I will probably get more! It would be nice in spring to have a get together since there are so many members between knoxville and bristol!!!
Now I can really start my own fsj yard! Three at a time doesn't count for me (it does for my ex!)

Hello from Signal Mountain! Some good trails up here. Suck Creek (Prentice Cooper State Forest) at the bottom of the mountain has some good places to ride. Mt. Aetna is a great place for any type of 'wheeling. Only an hour north of Chatt.
