This is my 1978 Jeep Wagoneer in beautiful Davis, CA. It has the 401 V8 and Quadra Trac. I bought the truck for $1000 but have since put nearly twice that amount back into it. New parts include: radiator, water pump and fan clutch (solved the overheating.) Exhaust manifolds and full exhaust system, fuel lines all the way to the engine and fuel sending unit, rebuilt carb (stopped the noxious exhaust fumes and gas smell and irritating ticking noise. Helped with passing CA. smog...)NOS dashboard gauges (exorcised the demons in my dash.) Brakes and new tires all around. U-joints and full chassis lube (eliminated squeaks and grumbles.) Complete tune-up. Parts on the way as we speak: Rough Country 3" four spring lift, new QT chain and fluid, timing chain and oil pump rebuild kit, CB, roof rack, High Lift jack. The Jeep really runs great (now.) It's definately a work in progress but a great learning experience.
