1983 Jeep Wagoneer Limited

Specs:

Built Nov. 1982, Toledo, OH
Engine: Original AMC V8 360, 227K + miles
Tranny: Chrysler 727 w/ factory transmission cooler
Transfer Case: NP 229 (part-time 4WD)
Front Axle: Dana 44F
Rear Axle: AMC 8 7/8"
Interior: Leather seats in front and deteriorating carpet in rear.
Sheet Metal: Covered in faded, peeling blue paint, factory primer, spots of rust and factory installed roof rack
Suspension Modifications:

BFG Mud Terrain Tires on stock aluminum wheels
Monroe LT. Gas Charged Shocks
Engine Modifications:

MSD ignition system (Smoother running, but no MPG increase, like they said)
Fuel line rerouted away from the nice, warm fuel boiling exhaust manifold
Flex Fan (Now the fan clutch won't ever spin off again, sending the fan into the radiator)
Exterior Modifications:

Go Rhino! Push Bar with Brush Guard
Dual CB antennas mounted on front push bar (And they're just a bit higher than the tallest part on the roof- Very convenient!)
Bug Killer (a.k.a. Air deflector and Robber-Of-Even-Mildly-Respectable-Gas-Mileage)
KC HiLite Fog Lamps
Canvas Tent (Extends over Tailgate. Sleeps 2 even with the rear seat, folded up, of course.)
Mud flaps on front and rear (Keeps the crud off the peeling paint)
Running boards (removed since photo taken)
Grill from a 1976 Wagoneer
Interior Modifications:

CB mounted in the ever-popular former ash tray slot
Pioneer AM/FM stereo cassette deck w/ CD changer control, but no CD changer (yet)
Custom red interior dash lights and courtesy lights to enhance night vision for stargazing
On-Board Air (A/C compressor) which fills the 9 gallon air tank connected to the really cool Train Whistle w/ real whistle cord and can also fill the tires.
Rear "Sliding Deck" (No more straining over the tailgate to get stuff in the back.)
Notable Previous Repairs/Replacements:

Water Pump
Alternator (Remanufactured)
Radiator repair
Window tracks (for the power window)
Rear tailgate overhaul (including the ridiculously expensive $45 electric switch!)
Heater fan (from the same 76' that's missing a grill.)
