I have 76 dodge half ton,now my question is can I swap out the axles transfercase and the transmission? or would it not work? Next question what all do I have to do to flip the perches and spings on the front(or is there another way to lift the front)?
Sure, it will work, front axle is SOA already and darn close, if not a direct fit, (might be a 1/2" off or something minimal, can't recall offhand), No perch flipping required, IIRC.
That should gain you about 7" of lift right there.
Probably a great many other things to do also.
Personally, I think all you gain is track width and not any real strength, I'd look for some 3/4ton or better components for that kind of effort.
How is your access to fab equipment?

hmmm, yeah half ton stuff is to weak. you need a good fullfloater in the rear, take your pick, and a dana 60 upfront. thats the spirit.

what kind of wheelin' you planning? you could get by with a set up from a J20. d60 in the rear and a hd44 up front. it's cheaper than a set of tons right now and i think you could manage the skinny pedal not to blow it all up :D

If I remember Dodge doesn't use the standard 32" centers or whatever on their front axles, so your front may not work out, but as Tad, Nick and Rob mentioned, you could always get some 3/4 or 1 tons instead.
