You want to run a NP205???

Did you know that one of the TH400 outputs for a Np205 is 32 splineand sticks out 4.5"???
Did you Know that The Th400 to Dana 20 output is 32 spline and 4.5"???

I just realized this the other night while researching doublers and Klunes and such.... I've since double checked and verified all the dimensions and it's true... If you have a Th400/D20, you can do a straight swap to the NP205 as long as you use the GM th400/np205 adapter, which also means that you can put a KluneV between a TH400/D20 or preferably a KluneV between th400/np205... Now, this only applies if you have the D20 output already in your th400...
And to my knowledge the folks at KluneV haven't even realized that the Th400/D20 output is the same as the Short Th400/Np205 output, because when I talked to them about running the KV between the th400/d20 they said that it couldn't be done "Because the Jeep D20 th400 has an output we're not familiar with"... That conversation was last year when I junked my QT and converted to D20, so now they may know better... As I've said I did Double check actual hard parts and verified that I'm right on this one( so that Stuka can't feed me my foot this time)...

Interesting!!! So are you going to do this? If this is the case then a Atlas II case would be a little easier as well..

the shafts are the same as a short 2 x th400/d20/205

The jest is This; The D20 th400 output is the same as a np205 output(there are a bunch of differant ones depending on year etc.) So make sure it's the 4.5" 32 spline version... adapters and such are differant, but looking at the trannies without the adapters, they are identicle...
