BTW - if anyone is wondering what the heck happened to my door and rear QP, I had an argument with a tree last weekend but I think I won :D
As for the humvee, had to leave it there last night after a bent tow hook, a torn off tow hook (both my vehicle, don't get procomp hooks) and two broken straps (20klbs and 30klbs a piece!) he toasted his winch trying to pull off of me too...but it seems to have recovered.
He was extracted this morning by another humvee friend of his and two other jeep guys chained to the winching vehicle to keep it from pulling forward....

Hey, being a military design, the Hummer is simply going with it's nature and trying to dig a fox hole to hide in :D

Oh sure, as a high speed scout/transport vehicle I can't knock them, but you don't know how many times the club has had to rescue this guy smile.gif

Two tow straps-$65
One winch-$750
Two towhooks-$35
Tank of gas-$45
Showing up a 4 wheel drive that cost almost as much as some people's homes-PRICELESS

Hey, mud is extremely hard to find here. Hopefully by the end of the weekend there will be plenty. Rob, PLEASE share where you were for us mud-deprived New Mexicans...

as Bigun noted, it's the Rio Grande. If you're into mud we have the NMT Mud Bog coming up on the 17th down here and it's usually pretty fun. I'm going to run this year.
Here's info on that:

I'm sitting in on all the planning meetings and probably am going to be helping out with tech/safety inspections. I didn't run last year due to some mechanical bugs but I'm going to give it a go this time around. BTW, they're making the mud thick this year, too many vehicles made it last year and they're making up for it :D bring the chero down and give it a shot, should be a fun day.

We didn't go last year because we didn't find out when it was going to be till 2 days before as for bringing the cher. I don't know I might I do have two weeks to decide.

I am in the army and I drive a hummer every day, being raised a jeeper myself I drive through every rut and over every rock I can find. and they do suck. if you’ve never driven one don't and count you’re self lucky.
That is a PRICELESS photo - it's almost like Satan is trying to pull that Hummer back down to Hades…gotta hate that thang we call gravity…looks like the ol choptop is not even sinking… :D

Anytime you can pull up to a Hummer and not be out classed RULES!!! Too bad most of the owners arent previos FSJ fans or they might be able to find a good line!
