I have a timing cover off of my 78 401 motor. It is used but in excellent condition.
I am asking $75.00 for it. I priced it at our local junk yard and they want $150.00 for a used one. The galleys and mating surfaces look great. The oil pump housing does not show any excessive wear.
I still have many of the parts I listed earlier from the 78 Cherokee Chief. I have had several inquiries but no one has gotten back to me. If you request info I will email descriptions and pics. I am taking about any offer.
The parts are:
Massive custom bumpers- pics available.
TH 400 Tranny- Needs a rebuild but is in great shape.
QT case- needs rebuild but the case is in great shape.
Freshly rebuilt QT T-case with low-range.
Dana 44 axles front and rear with 3.59 gears.
Complete set of 4 springs that do not show any sagging.
Many good body parts-hood, fenders, windows, tailgate with electric window that works. Both doors in great shape. Etc....
Factory 12-spoke 15" wheels in great shape.
Cruise control unit with all parts.
The list goes on and on.
After I am done parting it out I will have the frame and whatever is left that will be fore sale. (REAL CHEAP)
