good job on the sliders. i have a comment though. why not heat the short tubes and bend it up towards the rocker panel to provide better protection and it'll be out of the way when you get in your truck. not a big deal but 5 minutes with a smoke wrench and it'll be bling. just my $.02

OC.. well I thought of that but they double as steps for my wife and kids..

please don't take this as an insult in any way but it's really not that tall. you could always bend it and then weld a piece of 4"x4" plate for a step. necessity is the mother of all invention, so look at it that way. btw, this is just my thoughts. it is your truck ;)
I's love a set? Are you gonna start any production?

thanks, blt2krl I love your sliders.
And they are my first set, I just started to weld so I am a novice, but learning.
O.C. no offense taken but when you kids a 5 and 1.5 and the wife is only 5'2" is is pretty tall to them, not for me. I would love to have mine like blt2krl but for now they will have to do.
Zed2 "I's love a set? Are you gonna start any production?"
answer is no, I'm only a novice welder and have very little experince, but thanks for the complments.
