II swear I am starting to get pi$ed off about this. I am so close to having everything back together. I figured while I had my axles apart I would go ahead and replace all the wheel studs...32 of them. Some of the threads weren't so smooth after 30+ years. I rebuilt everything while I was in there, I shouldn't start skimping now. So I just bang them out with a sledge hammer deforming all of them in the process. No biggie...I have new ones coming he next day I say....yea friggin right. It has been 5 days now and I still don't have them. "Oh yes sir, I ordered them", "oh, they are in back in some boxes we recieved last night", "we will call you as soon as we stock them"....dangit!!! Give me my freaking wheel studs!!!! This is freaking ridiculous
Just wanted to complain...

I had a simular problem 15 or so years ago. I bought a F250 camper special 2 wheel drive with the opitional tow package. Which is a long way of saying it had disk brakes on the front. When I purchased truck it had been abused and had only 5 lugs per wheel on the front. I ended up going to every parts place it seemed in Denver before I finally got all 16 to replace them. The last I got from the NAPA warehouse the lady that found them had no idea what they fit because they were so old the part numbers didn't even come up on the computer. LOL

That's the problem I have, seems they never stock more than 3 or 4 of any one size so you have to hit every store in town for two weeks to come up with 16 studs for one rearend.

I dunno what the whole problem is.... When I re-did the front wheel and spindle bearings, I took my disc brake rotors to NAPA, had the races knocked out and new ones pressed in, rotors turned down, and the old lugs knocked out and new lugs pressed in. Dropped them off one day and picked them up the next. Didn't cost me much at all, either.

Y'all ought to live where I do local guys parts are limited if y9ou can't wait for him to get them in that can take anywhere from one day to a week. If you have to have it now you have to start calling other places then if they have it load up, drive 40 miles to where hopefully the high school dropout behind the counter was looking at the right part when they told you they had it.

I brought in my rear axle shaft for my J-10 to Action Auto Parts in Olympia to get the bearings pressed off and the new ones pressed on. They insisted that my dana 44 was not a dana 44 and put on new bearings for a ford 9 inch. Even tho I told them it was a dana 44. How many ford 9 inch axles were 6 lug?!?!?!?! Well to make a long story short they put the wrong ones on, i brought it back to get the right ones on and they wouldnt belive me that it was a dana 44 axle shaft. So i went home took a pic of the axle and brought it in to 'em and told them that it was a fu#$ing dana 44 and put the right frigg'n bearings on!
And when I picked it up from the the shop the next day it had the right bearings on it, but they bent the axle shaft. Needles to say I will NEVER go to that auto parts store again.

Finally got them. The manager said they looked and looked but couldn't find them. Turned out no one ever delivered them to the store. Idiots. Anyway, she personaly drove to the warehouse and picked them up. Luckily, she managed to get the right ones. I installed them this evening. All is good in my Jeep building world now...

Someone at that place is seriously screwed up on inventory.
I feel your pain though, waiting for parts sux!
