I just bought a 67 J-3000 Gladiator for a couple hundred bucks, and have a few questions...What leaf springs off of other jeeps or anything will fit on it because they are extremely shot, and where else can you point for other info regarding this specific jeep....
Thanks in advance
Joe
Vilkommen to da forum!
I stink you have to get the springs off a pre-74 truck or wag...after that they went with a different width and spring under orientation.
I'm sure someone who actually knows what they are talking about will be along soon to collaborate/dessicrate my advice.
BTW...got any pics of that beast? :D
Here is the link to the Triangle Spring distributors in WY, 64traveler is up in WY also and I'm sure he knows one of these places.

Essentially, there is not enough demand out there to make prepackaged lift kits for us pre 1974 (post mount) folks. Thanks guys, at this point I'm not really looking to transform it too much, the leafs are cracked and I'm just looking forstock springs or maybe a 2 inch lift for now. Will have pictures up within week....
Thanks again

Also...what would an average shop charge for a set of say stock springs, or something same size, maybe not a 10 leaf pack....
I'd say you are someplace between $125 - $150 per corner including bushings and you install yourself.
