Been reading about lifts on the site (tons of good info) but don't know what "SOA" means. I finally figured out AAL. Thanks.

That would be Spring Over Axle. On our rigs the front leaf springs came SUA (spring under axle). What this lift does is move the springs to ontop using welded on spring perches. So your lift gained is equal to how big your axle is.
The rear of our rigs already came SOA so you have to make up the difference. A lot of people do a RB custom shackle conversion which is some brakets that are either welded or bolted to the bottom of our factory spring hangers ( although some modifications are required). This flips the shackle from going up to going down and moves the springs down on the frame thus giving you lift for the rear. There are other ways to lift the rear but this way is the best. This is just a general over view on this topic, if you have more questions just post them! smile.gif

PS-Oh yeah for more technical info if you do a quick search for SOA you will come up with all kinds of technical info, some of which gets very detailed as to what has to be done to accomplish this.
