Working on a buddy's truck and have some issues getting everything to run right. He is setting triple rochesters on a chevy 235 with an offy intake and headers.

It starts but then the problems begin.
It will not hold idle and backfires pretty bad.
Will be checking for vac leaks tomorrow and if that does not do the trick, the head comes off again.

Any input is appreciated.

Huge PAIN IT THE ARSE

Oly on Olds. I ran the J2 on a 57 olds for a summer and the w-30 setup from the 66 442.

Both fun to sho pain to go.

I blocke off the 2 secondaries and just ran the middle until I got that right, then I added the other 2.

took a while to get it right, but once you do, well you have to start all over again because it never takes.

Looks real cool though.

Best of luck.

Had a buddy in high school who had a Mopar with that Cross Ram manifold and 2 4bbls sitting on opposite fenders. THAT was a PITA. Both had idle circuits and the linkage wasn't progressive. You had to synchronize with vacuum gauges and feeler gauges.
