Nice vid YJ. You know it doesn't count though unless you go up the middle ;) That line to the far left used to not even exist, now it's a cake walk. Next time you go up, go up the middle or nothing. You'll get respect.

next time i go up there the choptop will have a front locker so i might actually have a chance taking the middle line ;) .

It still amazes me that you havent broken anything heh. Were you doing neutral drops to 1st gear? Cant believe you didnt brake a front u-joint when looking at that wheel shimmy/axle wrap up front ;) Cool run.

CowKiller

yea, looks like he neutral slamed it at that one point. the spotter told him too. lol then it started to load on up em, and blow out all the carbon. lol

youngjeeper
02-21-2005, 07:47 AM
no the spotter is againest neutral slamming ;) it was all my choice. with 3.31's and 36's you gotta do something to make the RPM's stay up. it was pretty run, rev up to 5000rpm and slam it smile.gif

Nice video! Thanks for editing it. I always hate watching action and waiting 30 seconds while the spotter and driver talk about the next line to take. I just want to see the action! <g>

Dan, that was probably the most graceful ascent i've seen. i'm not being sarcastic either. i have a few vids of people from this site who are hammering on it till they get to the top. granted, it was a wetter than when you hit it but nevertheless not as graceful.

I'll see if I can dig up some more vids.

Nick: If that was "graceful" I'd like to see the others :D

fairly dry and no real wheel spin after the first ledge. i'd say graceful. ;) most of the time i see smoke, wheel spin all the way to the top and something broke.

youngjeeper

Haha good point. I think there would of been more wheel spin if I could of kept it going! I'll dig up Steves show soon.

It really wasn't a bad run. 9 isn't too bad when almost completely dry. My run will look quite a bit different. Most of it I had no spotter and had a little fuel leakage. Of course that's fixed now! smile.gif

a good spotter is key. that or an indestructable rig. then you can just smash and crash your way to the top.
