anyone using wheel spacers?

Just put on new tires - SS SX 36/12.50 - but having trouble w/ rear rubbing. Placed 5/16" wheel spacers for quick fix but still tighter than would like. Performance shop said only need 4-5 turns on each lug to be safe. Would like anyone's history/comments please.

You can get longer studds.
4-5 turns seems a little light to me.
Depends what you plan on doing with it, but I would feel better just putting longer studds on.

as a side note, wheel spacers are known for snapping lug nuts, because they have to be so much longer.

Use Moroso grade 8 drag racing studs. They won't break.
