Hey guys im new to the whole jeep thing but i just got a 78 jeep wagoneer and i did a spring over conversion on it with 5 1/2" blocks in the rear. I lengthened the front driveshaft and extended the drag link to reach the pitman arm. Now, every time i hit a bump while driving my jeep swerves horribly. I still have yet to put a steering stabilizer on it but will that cure a problem this severe? It has also been suggested that a dropped pitman arm may help. Any input is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!!

That's called bump-steer; when the suspension compresses, the arc of the end of the tie-rod moves the axle to the right, and when the suspension relaxes, it moves it back to the left. You need to either drop the pitman-arm end or raise the steering connection on the passenger-side knuckle, so the tie-rod is parallel to the axle.
