Tried to do this at work and couldn't. The wagoneer is beloved money pit #2. It's getting a slow upgrade. The CJ I have had since high school (20yrs) so naturally its money pit #1. The m715 came into my life 2 years ago and has proved to be money pit #3. I love em all. And they are all built by Kaiser!! Lets see If I can get it to work this time. Geez, I can rebuild a jeep but can't get a stupid picture to show itself :D ....

Nice Pic's - Is that a 5 on 5.5 front axle with disc brakes or am I just dreaming?

Thanks tadsal and guys, I didn't realize I had two http's in the address. It is a 5 on 5.5 I picked up a 77 dana 44 and wanted to keep the 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern. I had to buy new spindles, warn bearing hubs, stub axles, rotors ect. It was a spendy conversion. A much better axle than the closed knuckle drum brake dana 27. I have discovered the braking is marginal, so I picked up a later model proportioning valve. I just got all the fittings lined up and just need to install it. I Hope it stops better. I'm real close to parking it and cutting off the rear corners so I can replace rust damage. I have rust free corners from the same 77 wag I got the front end off of. Thanks for the help with the pics guys. I think next time won't be a problem. I was trying to get them downloaded and the wife was calling me for dinner. I was hurrying and not checking everything....Take care

Looking good! The M715 looks really nice, as do the others, but its my favorite :D
Thanks for that info Al, it does sound pricey to covert to the 5 lug pattern. I already have a centered model 20 for the rear with 6 lugs so I think i'll just find a "74-'79 44 for the front and go 6 lug, again, thank you.

Sweet!..I'm jelous!
Al, great looking M715 wow...!!!
If ya get some time to drop me an email I'd like to hear what mods you did to the CJ windshield to get the tip out function. I had a 40 Chev 1-1/2 ton for 20 years and it's windshield cranked out. Man that was a great feature...I miss it. Love to have the same function on my CJ-8.

Wow, all are very nice. I like the M715, did you get it that way or restore it?
Also, it looks like you widened the body and frame on that CJ, pretty cool.
Money pits is right!
I like the thinking with the bolt conversion and open knuckles swap in the wag, I'm in the process of doing this also.
"But Mom, it's not fair. He's got three great Jeep toys and I've only got one!"
Sweet rides!

Heh, heh, heh, you guys are making me laugh! Good humor in this group. :D :D Panther asked "Did I get (M715) that way or did I restore it" Well I hate to say it but I bought it that way. I got it from Jacks Gov't Surplus in Tucson AZ. I have made many improvements though. New gas fired heater, lots of new rubber, lots of detailing thanks to a wandering spray gun. I have put about 1000.00 bucks into it since I bought it. Tex asked "how much?" Well I think he means how much did I pay... Sitting down?... 6500.00 I wanted a 455 powered T18 lifted rig. When I flew down to drive it home, I decided I would hurt its value by changing it from stock. So there it sits...I usually like to build em myself, but I didn't have the time. Maybe I'll put that 455 into my wagoneer. I wonder if anybodys done that???
Thanks for the compliments guys. I don't have kids and my wifes and my cars sort of fill the void. It's nice to see some one else appreciate
them....Whew, No more coffee for me :D Kaiserjeeps...(Al)...

Kaiserjeeps,
You might find this interesting, 455/T18 in a J20
http://home.epix.net/~bradf/pics1.html
Also, nothig wrong with paying for original or a rig that some else put all the $, blood, sweat and tears into. Ends up being better in the end, IMO

Those make for nice eyecandy, but the M715 definately takes the cake!
I think the 455 would work in a J20 too. If you paint it green it might get mistaken for a M715 . . .

Cool story! I might have to do that 455 yet... I think it would fit with some minor tweaking. Kaiserjeeps....(Al)...
