I've got to replumb my entire brake system, and was wondering about what size line I should run to the rear. My choice is to go 3/16" or 1/4" all the way back to the hose. This is for rear Eldorado disc brakes. I'm thinking 1/4" line would provide the necessary volume, but I'm going to be running it through an adjustable proportioning valve that has a 3/16" fitting on each side. I recall something of my high-school physics class regarding the relation of pressure, cross-section and volume, but am not sure whether my idea is on target or not.

What size line are you guys with rear disc brakes running?

Bob,

my line from the prop valve is 1/4" then T's to 3/16" at the axle..

I will keep this setup for the Eldo calipers as well
