Dead GW-frustrated owner/empty pockets!!!

Hey guys,Ipicked up an '88 GW that was pretty well tended to in most regards but lately it just dies.It's all rebuilt,to what extent i'm not sure but sounds clean and tight when happy.Mallory Ig.,electric f. pump(gas line clean and getting spark)Edelbrock perf. manifold and Holley Pro-jection(jury still out)Doesn't matter if under power or idle it still dies at random.Let it sit for 5-15 min. and you're rollin'for awhile.Any thoughts?

You might want to try a new ignition module.

Might check the wiring coming out of the distributor. The wires for the P/U on mine were oil soaked and the wires were shorting. I know that is why the previous owner got rid of it. Good luck.
