I did something completely and totaly stupid. I had just finished wiring up my pushbutton starter switch, and thought, hey, lets see if it works. Problem is I have my hacked up hood and radiator leaning up on the fan. So now I need to repair my nice new radiator. I was surprised, but it only put one tiny hole in one of the channels. Sometimes I just want to cry. Dennis

I once pulled the radiator for repair, and figured it was a good idea to pull it out real quick while the radiator was at the shop. It wasn't runing so good so I had to rev it a little bit. I wasn't really paying attention. High ATF slammed into the fan and splashed all over the place. One second of thought is sometimes paid for by hours of labor to fix a screw up. I feel your pain.

I once heard of a guy that spent ages and ages looking for a tilt column for his 70 wag. He needed a column without a gear shift, so it was extra hard to find. So, then he finally found one, and one day decided to check it for fit and such. He then managed to leave it behind his rig's tire and forgot about it. Well, you can guess what happened to that column?? Crunch...he backed over it :D Can someone guess who that could be??? Then one time he broke a new windshield.... :D :D :D

Good judgement comes from experience.

Experience comes from a lack of good judgement. I've done my share (I hope)! But I'm sure there will be more.

I just put a body lift in not too long ago in my chero and when I did my body lift my buddy lowered my rad and I guess when he did it he set it right on top of the steering box and a bolt wore a hole through it finally on a trail run a couple of days ago, so I had to get crafty and fix it up to finish up a day of wheeling.....crappy things happen to the best of us.

I decided to check my brake drum once while changing a tire. It wouldn't come off and I though "Oh yea, parking brake is on". Sure enough when I released the parking brake the car rolled off the jack (I was on a very slight incline). STUPID!
