Well, if you don't know I've been searching high and low for a 32 spline NP205 and have yet to find one that suited my wallet. Well, the other night Elliot PMs me with info about one on ebay with really dark pictures. I start looking into it and low and behold is a one ton tranny and 205 w/ a round pattern!
I sent the pictures to photoshop to brighten them up and then sent them to scotty who confirmed my thoughts. Elliot looked them over as well and got the guy to send more pictures and it was for sure what i needed. Even better is that Elliot is going to pick it up for me and ship it. That's really going out of anyones way to help another.
thanks to these 2 guys I now have what i need and a continued faith in the FSJ crowd. There couldn't be a better bunch. i still need to swap the slip rear for a fixed one but that's small potatos at this point. updates to come!

got the tranny already. I'm giving it to Elliot for the trouble. I might need the adapter though.

[steve irwin] krikey! you found the elusive np case, mate! [/croc hunter]
seriously, you scored bigtime. Elliot has supplied me with a wealth of barn door info. all around a great guy, like many here. This kind of people are why I hang on the offroad board and don't venture into others much... this is what i like to see! no BS here, just helping each other to build badass rigs. that's how it should be.

yeah, it should really be a pay it forward type deal. if someone helps you, then you in turn help someone else.
it's around and round and up and down. feelin' the flow, doin' the bull dance :D
