butterfly removal?

I need to take my secondary apart, can someone tell me how to get the linkage off the rod so you can slip it out. i'm guessing it's pressure fit on but I don't want to do any hard banking 'cause I've recently had a broken piece fixed and don't want to stress it.

What kind of carb? Motorcraft 4350? QJet? Holley? Edelbrock?
