View Full Version : Klune-v can do!
With the help of the people at klune-v and Advance -Adapters, I figured out how to run the following setup:
t18a/Klune-v/np205
an AA kit for t18 to dana 300 gives bolt pattern and 23 spline shaft for Klune,
an adapter plate from Klune for the 32 spline NP205.
They (Klune) recommended the Goliath model (2.7)because of the stage 1 Buick 455 and tire size (40 inch). It will give me a crawl ratio of 137 with 4.10 gears.
That and my dana 60 front and FF14 rear, should be pretty bullet proof drivetrain I would think?

sounds good
id love to run a buick 455,where are you gonna get a flywheel? whats it run ya?
also, why do ya need an adapter plate for the 205? if its a later model, its round patter should bolt right to the klune. is it just to clock the 205 up flatter?
nothing is bullet proof ;) but you definately got a good start :D
I got the flywheel from TA Performance (about $250) along with most all my engine parts.
My NP205 is a earlier chevy from a TH400 (only ones with a female 32 spline input) that has been rebuilt with 1350 rear yoke and heavy load input bearing. It has the race-track bolt pattern.
According to Klune the earlier 32 spline 205 is best. The later has the round bolt pattern but you still must run spacers, I think they said 3, because of shaft length. Something like that, anyway, they recommended the earlier one with the 32 spline shaft so that is what I got.
TA Performance = High Quality Goodies!!!
Congrats....sounds like a killer setup.
yes, TA performance is an incredible shop. if you ever have the chance to see thier shop in AZ you will be very impressed. extremely state of the art. I have enough bills from them to get a divorce lawyer salivating.
