Well i have gone ahead with the new bumper and winch set up ,,,,

the green is the exo cage tied from the back bumper over the fender to the slider then from the slider over the fender to the winch bumper, gives better approach for tires.

If you set the winch back into the grille, you can probably gain another 6" off what I have on my setup:

it'll will work good, i like the idea, the more approach the better.
only snag im having right now is gettin the winch and winch mounting plate bolted in that tight spot

ty guy ,,,this is my first attempt of building, only using a mig welder, chop saw, and a grinder.....oh ....ok ... the fork lift helps too
Well today is the day .... got the first part of the winch bumper all bolted on and finished, now taking it in a couple hours to our local 4x4 Show and Ramp Day ...( with BBQ.of course :D )
